French Cut White Oak
For over 20 years, we have used a European approach to cutting our wide plank hardwood flooring, this french cut applies a century-old technique that has long been the standard style of cutting logs in Europe. Also referred to as Live Sawn, this milling method, is the result of straight cuts through the log, which produces a mix of a rift, quarter, and plain sawn woods. This type of milling highlights all the grain styles, color, and character variations in each log and provides a unique and versatile product every time.
When all of these styles are present in an individual board, it creates an end product that is unparalleled in aesthetics.
